Data Product Owner - Data Product Manager - Data Specialist - Datalake - Datawarehouse - AdTech - AI - Machine Learning

A leading AI and Machine Learning AdTech business based in london are looking for a Data Product Manager to sit within their Data team.

You will be working on a variety of data projects and own the Core Reporting product (Data Warehouse) working closely with upstream systems (Datalake) and downstream applications (reporting UIs).

For the successful candidate there is a great opportunity to learn how data is managed at scale in the adtech ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have a background of working in AdTech in a similar role.

The job:

  • Gather user requirements, write functional specs and user stories.
  • Work directly with developers daily to allocate and prioritise the team's workload to reach business goals and to incrementally deliver value.
  • Run daily stand up meetings to ensure product features are on track as specified.
  • Manage software releases and communicate business benefits to internal and external groups.
  • Understand core business needs, summarise into requirements and create clear specifications for developing this work.
  • Complete product review of developed work to ensure it meets business needs.
  • Understand the downstream impacts of any new features or development and coordinate with the relevant teams to ensure a seamless release process
  • Support local resources (Deployment team, Project Management) to make sure the roll out of Proteus is as smooth as possible.
  • Brief and train internal and external teams on new product releases

A bit about yourself:

  • Previous experience working in adtech a must
  • Good with data, working knowledge of SQL and Excel a must
  • Able to handle complex requirements from multiple clients and pull together into a comprehensive plan
  • Previous experience on client facing reporting product
  • Good with data and understand how it can be used for customer benefit
  • Good understanding of how data is transformed and used within a business
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a good attention to detail
  • Technical background
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Previous experience using Tools like Confluence, Jira and Balsamic a plus
