A leading venture capital business based in the heart of London is looking for an exceptional Quantitative Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful Quantitative Analyst will be an instrumental part in working with both the development and investment teams to identify opportunities for fertile investments. You will mine disparate public data sources for signals to help unearth interesting companies at the right time of their development, gathering information and interpreting patterns from the data.
The right Quantitative Analyst will be analytical and able to think outside the usual lines to solve problems. You will be intricately involved in quick iterations and hackathons, and can think pro-actively about relevant APIs from various applications. You will build screen scrapers, access APIs, structure data effecively and be able to communicate these ideas succintly and effectively.
The successful Quantitative Analyst will need to have:
- An obvious and demonstrable passion for data analytics
- Excellent programming and software skills, such as Python scripting, SQL querying and statistical languages such as R
- Graduated with a 2:1 or higher in a highly numerate subject
- Excellent communication skills
