Business Systems Analyst

My client is a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the Watford area.


Business Systems Analyst will act as an intermediary between the business and our

technical communities while working with IS project teams to collect, clarify, and

translate business requirements into documentation, then conceptual design from

which applications and solutions are developed. This role will support the accountable

Service Owner by providing operational analytic metrics, then advise recommended

improvements. Acting as thought partner and application visionary shaping our

technology demand among the business community, this role works with team

members to: update internal operating and process controls; track operating adherence

to procedures; ensure appropriate documentation is stored along with on-time closure

of audit commitments; ensure training requirements are completed, and generate

metrics while executing experiments.

Main Duties:

  • Supports the Service Owner, peer full-time employees, and managed service provider
  • in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the technology service
  • Ensures service is aligned with the key principles of service ownership which includes:reliability, and resilience
  • meeting the needs of the business, cost effectiveness, scalability, compliance,
  • Works with team members, establishes in-depth knowledge-sharing of GBS
  • Technology Services operations including financial reporting
  • Manages the billing and invoice processing for Cloud services
  • Participates in team efforts directed at advancing development and technologyleadership
  • programs within the department then report progress to senior business and IS
  • Prepares for and ensures compliant documentation with supporting detail
  • Works independently, function as a knowledge resource for less experienceddiscipline to improve systems and service
  • colleagues while providing oversight using best practices and change management
  • Creates compelling business cases with cost estimation accuracy, then translatesbusiness capability delivery while converting business functionality into applicable
  • requirements.

  • Troubleshoots problems that may arise in work products, then partners with software

Qualifications and person specification:

  • Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems and
  • Windows server administration experience or equivalent
  • Experience in tracking and managing financial systems and processdocumentation inventory as well as monitoring audit management corrective actions
  • documents, working in EDM Quality, maintaining controlled document and key
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow and Sharepoint
  • Exceptional demonstrated organizational skills, multitasking, persuasion,understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • negotiation of critical issues, and strong attention to detail demonstrating excellent
  • Exceptional demonstrated consultative skills engaging people throughout an
