IT Strategy CoE - FTSE 100 company
One of the world's largest businesses is establishing a new Centre of Excellence for IT Strategy which provide advisory services across the globe. They are seeking highly intelligent, strategically minded candidates who are passionate about the future of technology and how it can provide opportunities for business to grow.
Working with the IT Strategy Centre of Excellence you will engage with CxO level stakeholders across both business and technology, providing your view on how IT and new digital / emerging technologies can help the business achieve it's goals, and develop clear recommendations, underpinned by data and a solid business case. You will display exceptional interpersonal skills as you nurture collaborative relations at every level to influence and define technology and business strategies, guiding the business to change that will have a significant impact on commercial success.
They are looking at all levels of candidate from Consultant to Senior Manager, and are offering an excellent benefits package, including 20% bonus and 20% pension, and 30 days holiday from the start. You will also be on the ground floor in establishing a new Strategy function in one of the UK's best known businesses, establishing IT Strategy for divisions across the business with budgets in the tens of billions.
Working as a vital part of this new advisory function, you will work as part of a team of professionals to understand the aims and goals of the business and provide alternatives as to how these can be achieved. This could be as vague as increasing base line profits for a particular division, or how could we digitise processes across the board, or even what emerging technologies would benefit the business.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working within an IT Strategy function within a consultancy environment, ideally (but not exclusively) within the Big Four or similar major consulting firm, and a strong interest and deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, robotics automation, predictive analytics, etc.). You will have excellent oral and written presentation skills, and be comfortable using these with high level stakeholders in a complex, wide-reaching business environment.
