ICT Project Manager - 6 Month Contract - up to £500 per day DOE - Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Our client, a tech consultancy, are looking for an ICT Project Manager to join them on a contractual basis. As an ICT PM, you'll plan, co-ordinate, lead and manage the EMEA ICT projects. In particular, you'll be working on major IT systems upgrade projects. Hands-on experience managing Windows 10 and O365 upgrades/roll-outs is essential.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry OR a heavily regulated industry (e.g. banking) is essential.

Key duties and responsibilities*Lead and project manage the implementation of ICT projects as required, to ensure full compliance with all processes and procedures within agreed deadlines and budget*Ensure each project is established and operated in accordance with project management best practice, with effective governance, planning, budget management, quality assurance, task oversight and evaluation*Prioritise and action project delivery according to an agreed risk-based approach. Manage risks and risk mitigation to a successful outcome*Ensure that requirements, process and progress is transparent and widely understood across EMEA regionally*Support and co-ordinate project activities with global colleagues, project stakeholders and third party vendors as required*Monitor and report on progress towards agreed objectives/costs against project plan/ budget*Develop, execute and manage project test plans and activities in conjunction with required business users*Work in partnership with EMEA Regional Business Managers, EMEA ICT Business Solutions Department, business system/application owners and system/application vendors

Experience and skills required*Strong project management experience with suitable qualifications and a demonstrable track record of delivering large cross functional projects*Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems and applications*Experience working with local, regional & global staff*Experience in managing and delivering Windows 10 & Office 365 projects essential*Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion*Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills*Previous experience of business process/data analysis, mapping and reengineering in a multinational company*Experience of working within a multi-vendor environment*Strong stakeholder management experience to Executive level*Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio applications
