I am working in partnership with a company based in Manchester that is on the lookout for passionate Senior Software Engineers to join their Development Team.
As Senior Software Engineer, you will be involved in the design and development of significant components, defect investigation, defect resolution and documentation of their work. An eye for detail and focus on quality is required, using a test-driven approach incorporating unit and integration testing of code.

You will be joining a small team, working in a high performance, agile environment. The team delivers software in two-week sprints, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with expert colleagues from systems architecture, software testing, usability and project management.
In terms of programming languages the core focus of their development is Java development (Java EE, Spring, Maven and Hibernate). Understanding of Eclipse or NetBeans. You will also work with a range of modern software development principles and methodologies including Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD, and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and alternative ways of working.

You will also receive a competitive base salary between £45,000-£60,000 and will be in the perfect position to progress as both the business and the team grows.
