This successful Managed Service Provider within the finance industry need an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer / helpdesk support analyst to come and join them on their Service Desk at their London office.
1st Line Key responsibilities: * Providing 1st line support based on a fast-paced service desk * Being the first point of call for client contact * Ensuring user satisfaction / managing their expectations * Understanding when to escalate tickets to 2nd line
2nd Line Key responsibilities: * Providing 2nd line support based on a fast-paced service desk * Dealing with escalations from 1st Line and escalating incidents to management when required * Ensuring user satisfaction / managing their expectations * Mentoring junior engineers when required * Occasionally going out to client sites (in and around Central London) to provide support
1st Line Essential Skills: * Windows 7 and Windows 10 * Windows Server 2008 - 2012 * Microsoft Exchange * Active Directory
2nd Line Essential Skills: * Windows OS and Servers * Microsoft Exchange * Active Directory in Depth * VMware * Citrix * Basic network understanding
Ideally, you will have 2+ years of experience under your belt and be looking for a new challenge. Our client is hot on internal promotion, so this is a stepping stone into a 3rd Line role
