2nd Line Support Engineer - City of London - £35k + Bens

Our client, a reputable MSP based in the heart of the city, are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to come and add to their London team. Recently they have taken on a couple of new clients so are making lots of hires to keep up with the increased workload.

You will be based onsite with some of their key clients in and around Central London, so it is essential you have some sort of client-facing experience or come from a Managed Service background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing the company onsite with some of their key clients
  • If not onsite, based on a fast-paced service desk in their London office
  • Doing so on a 2-week rota basis
  • Providing 2nd line support over email, phone and face to face
  • Dealing with escalations from 1st Line
  • Escalating tickets to 3rd line when necessary
  • Prioritising tickets depending on importance

Essential Skills:

  • Experience providing 2nd Line Support to a Windows environment previously
  • Office 365
  • Basic understanding of / exposure to Azure fundamentals (Azure AD)
