Senior Java Engineer - Global FinTech - Mandarin speakers!

Global FinTech with 1.2 Billion customers, 8 global offices and over £70 Billion transferred through their platform to date are looking for modern Java Engineers (ideally with Mandarin!) to help design, develop and migrate a global financial payments platform to the Cloud using microservices, asynchronous communication models and JVM technologies.

This is a chance to really get hands-on and low level with a business-critical full lifecycle global engineering project.

As a senior engineer, you will be involved in the end to end design, development and deployment of mission critical core Java systems whilst mentoring and providing constructive feedback through code reviews and be happy to lead tech communities such as code clubs.

To apply, you will need the following:

  • Fluency with Java (preferably 8+)
  • Microservices
  • Spring Boot
  • Modern software engineering practices
  • Experience working with different technologies and wide knowledge of the JVM ecosystem
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Automated testing and practices that support it: TDD, BDD
  • Mandarin is highly desirable!
